o 30:00 – Consider why you want to go into business with that person.
o 31:45 – Make boundaries and establish how you’ll handle conflict scenarios; a 50/50 scenario is pretty much never recommended.
o 33:30 – Consider incentive scenarios instead of ownership splits.
o 35:12 – Know what’s business and what’s personal and consider how much the personal relationship is worth to you.
o 36:20 – Have them prove their tenacity and commitment to the vision.
o 37:27 – Maintain a personal relationship but have a different set of rules within the business.
